  1. Oxygen

In honor of Earth Day a few years ago. A group of eco-minded young folks wanted to sing about climate change. Lyric by Alberto Justiniano and Gary Rue. The amazing Dane Stauffer sings.

Lyrics

Oxygen

the trees in the forest make Oxygen,
And Oxygen keeps the fluorocarbons low,
And low fluorocarbons won't decimate the ozone, OH-
Zone keeps the earth at just the right temperature,
This prevents the melting of the polar ice caps,
That means that we're gonna stay high and dry,
You know (It's simple!)

But with no trees in the forest making Oxygen,
Thee's no Oxygen to keep the fluorocarbons low,
And no fluorocarbons will decimate the ozone, OH!
No ozone means right temperature,
This allows the melting of the polar ice caps,
That means we'll all be underwater ! (NO!),

But the trees are in the forest making Oxygen,
And Oxygen is keeping all the fluorocarbons low,
And low fluorocarbons won't decimate the ozone, OH-
Zone keeps the earth at just the right temperature,
Thus preventing melting of the polar ice caps,
Consequently keeping all our heads above water, and how!
Obviously meaning that the land will stay dry for now.
